Lead Academic in Humanities

The position of Lead Academic in Humanities is a leadership role that combines strategic direction with hands-on classroom teaching.

This 2-year fixed-term position involves leading the Faculty of Humanities, establishing and reviewing curriculum, policies, and practices to maintain academic excellence.

  • Develop and implement effective strategies for driving academic excellence.
  • Provide leadership and direction for the Faculty, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
  • Mentor and support faculty members in their professional growth.
  • Oversee assessment processes and student performance improvement strategies.

About the Role

As Lead Academic in Humanities, you will report directly to the Deputy Head of Senior School – Teaching & Learning and work closely with other Heads of Faculty.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Establish and review curriculum, policies, and practices.
  2. Lead, mentor, and support faculty members.
  3. Oversee assessment processes and student performance improvement strategies.
