**The role**:
The Accounts Administrator will work as part of the broader finance function within the group and be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of invoices (suppliers / sub-contractors) and ensuring accuracy in data entry and payment timelines.

**Responsibilities**:

- Accounts payable processing - high volume invoice processing with a complex business structure
- Commission payments - managing, checking, and processing of commission payments
- Coding accuracy - ensuring accuracy in high volume data entry with correct account coding across a variety of group ledgers and cost centres
- Filing management and document management
- Creating payment runs as per required payment schedules for sub-contractors, suppliers, and consultants
- Attendance to internal and external accounts administration queries accurately and in a timely manner
- Other general accounts administration tasks as directed from time to time

**Experience**:

- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
- Excellent data entry skills
- Ability to work in a high-volume environment with a high degree of accuracy, efficiency, and time management
- Intermediate level of skills in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
- Working knowledge of a building and construction workflow management system
- Strong customer service skills
- Proven effective interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills, with the ability to work with a diverse range of people and build positive relationships
- A Finance / Accounts qualification is desirable
