Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for an Area Operations Manager based in Canberra.
The Area Operations Manager will oversee daily operations across multiple bakery locations, ensuring high standards of product quality, service, and cleanliness.
Responsibilities include managing staff, coordinating with suppliers, maintaining inventory levels, and optimizing operational efficiency.
The role also involves developing and implementing strategies to drive sales and customer satisfaction, as well as monitoring compliance with health and safety regulations.QualificationsStrong leadership and managerial skills, with experience in supervising and coordinating multiple teamsExcellent organizational and multitasking abilities, able to manage different locations and large volumes of productOperational expertise in inventory management, supply chain coordination, and resource allocationExceptional customer service skills and the ability to foster positive customer experiencesProven track record in optimizing operational processes to drive efficiency and productivityExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and strong interpersonal skillsAnalytical skills to monitor and interpret performance metrics to make informed decisionsAvailability to work onsite in the Canberra areaPrevious experience in the food and beverage industry, particularly in bakery operations, is highly beneficialBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field is preferredSeniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionManagement and ManufacturingIndustriesFood and Beverage Services
