We are seeking suitably qualified and experienced Safety Advisors based out of Brisbane, QLD to help us build excellence and join our "One FKG" team. In this exciting position, individuals that are self-motivated, reliable and have an open and honest approach to communication will excel as they effectively lead safety on a multimillion dollar projects. Importantly, the Safety Advisor will build and maintain lasting professional employee, manager, and subcontractor relationships to ensure an effective safety culture is achieved.
- Vocational or Tertiary qualifications in Safety (minimum Cert IV);
- 3+ years practical experience directly involved in safety management on commercial construction projects;
- Extensive experience and knowledge of workplace health and safety and industrial relations regulations and practices applicable to construction sites;
- Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office;
- An exceptional level of verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills;
- Strong grasp of construction methodologies specifically relating to structures, formwork and working at heights; and
- Ability to understand and interpret drawings and design documentation.
