**Job Description**:
This role is perfect for a driven, passionate, and experienced Grants Coordinator who believes in a preventative mental health approach and has a strong track record in engaging high net worth donors behind a mission.

Through successful engagement you will play a pivotal role in making systematic change to the way in which wellbeing and mental health is being addressed within schools, homes, communities, and workplaces to empower young people to grow up with the skills they need to thrive while at the same time offering value back to partners.

This work is vital to diversifying philanthropic and government revenue, expanding the financial supporter base, increasing community engagement with our brand, and delivering on organisational priorities.

Reporting to the Head of Fundraising you will work closely with the Major Gifts Manager but also engage with a supporting and collaborative CEO and senior leadership team.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

- Taking the lead in developing a comprehensive and continuous grants program
- Building a strong annual grants calendar optimising all levels of grants available
- Working to ensure successful cultivation and stewardship of trusts, foundations & govts across the country
- Maintaining accurate and up to date stewardship plans and history on the CRM
- Achieving personal annual relationship touchpoint and income targets
- Developing proposals and submissions, and aligning these to Smiling Mind's organisational strategy and impact ambitions
- Working closely with the wider team to ensure all proposals & submissions align with core business and drive growth opportunities for the organisation
- Working with key internal stakeholders to execute smooth briefing and hand overs of successful projects
- Working with key stakeholders for key reporting and acquittal requirements

Please note this is a part time (0.4) 2 year contract (with potential for extension).

**Qualifications**:
We're looking for someone who has:

- Experience in a similar role with a passion for grants and fundraising and the ability to deliver an exciting grants program
- An inquisitive nature, with a high degree of curiosity. You love to collaborate and share your knowledge with the wider team
- Strong project management & organisational skills, including the ability to manage complex detail and multiple projects, priorities, and relationships
- Strong networking and stakeholder management skills and demonstrated success in building relationships and multi-tiered connections
- An understanding of, and passion for, the role mindfulness can play in the development of young people and its benefits within the school setting
- Working knowledge of project management software, including CRM systems (we use Hubspot) with experience in collecting data and reporting
- A keen eye for detail and the capability to review and improve processes and systems
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
