Overview
Business Architect role at Wipro, Canberra, ACT, Australia.
The purpose of the role is to facilitate visual interpretation of data from multiple sources and use this information to develop data-driven solutions as per the client's requirements.
Responsibilities
Develop valuable insights from multiple data sources as per client requirements
Customer engagement and requirements gathering: understand customer needs and objectives, technology trends and requirements to define how data will be seen as final output; develop wireframes, prototypes, use cases; analyse, propose and implement the data technology and tools used for data visualization; provide solutioning of RFPs; validate solution/prototype from technology, cost, and customer differentiation points of view
Design and implementation of data visual aspects: architect and build data visualization capabilities for classical BI dashboards; create solutions using data mining/analysis methods, data tools, data models and data semantics; contribute to data platform architecture related to visualization needs; collaborate to establish and run data governance processes; manage metadata and semantic layer data; identify problem areas and perform root cause analysis
Enable Pre-Sales Team: support pre-sales while presenting data design principles to the client; negotiate and coordinate with client teams to meet requirements and create visual data output; demonstrate thought leadership to win confidence
Capability Building and Team Management: ensure completion of trainings and certifications; develop and publish viewpoints on data visualization concepts; mentor developers, designers and junior architects; anticipate talent requirements; hire resources; contribute to data visualization practice through interviews
Deliverables and Performance
Primary focus on project delivery and quality of design/architecture, delivery within cost, quality and timeline.
Experience: 8-10 years.
