A family-owned food distribution company based in the western suburbs of Brisbane is currently looking for Accounts Receivable officer to start asap.

The Company

Our client is a family-owned wholesale and food distribution company located in the South-Western suburbs of Brisbane. They have gone through an exponential growth period in the last 6 months and are now seeking for an enthusiastic, energetic and proactive Accounts Receivable/ Collections officer to join their team.

The Role

Reporting into an experienced AR Team Leader and working closely with another 4 team member you will be responsible for a variety of duties including:

- Receipting and allocation of customer payments (Manual process)
- Collections on past due accounts
- Sending statements
- Following up on credit notes
- Monitoring customer accounts for delayed payments
- Supporting sales team - setting up new customer accounts
- Ad hoc duties

**Your Profile**
- Proven experience in an end-to-end Accounts Receivable role
- Eagerness to learn and go outside the scope of the role
- Hands on and proactive approach
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
