
Executive Support Officer

**As the Executive Support Officer you will**:
- operate autonomously to undertake administration, finance and human resource tasks and use information and management systems to support effective and efficient reporting and administration of the branch
- keep up to date with changes to administrative practices, procedures and standards within the department and ensure that these changes are communicated to CGO managers and staff, as required
- educate and assist CGO employees in utilising various departmental information systems, including but not limited to MECS, Electronic Document Records Management system (eDocs), Human Resources Information Systems (Aurion), Financial Information Systems (SAP & Financial Reporter) and all registers including gifts, entertainment and hospitality
- communicate with internal and external key stakeholders in a way that encourages cooperation in complying with business and administrative requirements; provides information and advice in line with the division's policies and procedures; and demonstrates empathy, emotional understanding and support
- undertake discrete administrative projects to support the business of the branch, as required
- foster a workplace culture that supports and promotes the interests of First Nations people and actively engage through our work to contribute to better outcomes for First Nations people.This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Australia License.
