
Workplace Relations Manager

**The Role**:As the Workplace Relations Manager you will lead and manage the industrial relations strategy for ACH Group, to align to and achieve organisational strategic objectives.
**What you'll do**:
This full-time role is based in Mile End and will see you undertake:
- Development, implementation and review of ACH Group's employment and IR strategy
- Lead enterprise bargaining strategy and negotiations in consultation with senior leadership
- Provide advice and recommendations to leadership and People & Culture Business Partners on complex employee relations and grievance issues
- Research and analysis into legislative obligations and changes
- Ensure compliance and mitigate IR risk
- Understand the organisations environment, strategy, and people implications
- Navigate and interpret multiple Awards & Agreements
- Participate in projects related to human resource management and the workforce
- Promote and embed best practices across the organisation
**As a well-rounded HR Professional, your skills and experience will include**:
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, legal or similar discipline
- Advanced industrial/employee relations experience in a large organisation
- Proven ability to successfully negotiate enterprise agreements
- Extensive experience interpreting complex legislation and case law and a strong understanding of the legal frameworks surrounding employment
- Extensive experience providing complex industrial advice in a concise, easy to understand manner
- Sound project management and change management skills to achieve outcomes under time pressure
- Proven ability to develop and maintain effective professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Unions
- Ability to build strong partnerships and work closely with all ACH Group Employees
- Superb communication skills including effective listening, writing and presentation
- Consistently exhibits high levels of discretion, integrity, and confidentiality
- Ability to express thoughts in a clear and concise manner
