Responsibilities
Provide leadership, guidance, and influence through the full life cycle of the project from administrative and financial procedures and controls to procurement and costing
Based in the Mount Barker region initially, working on large-scale landmark projects with future work in Adelaide CBD and surrounds
Assist with the setup of the project including Head Contract Admin Guide, prepare and monitor procurement program, and prepare trade package tender documentation
Management of subcontractor procurement
Administration of the head contract and downstream agreements
Preparation of Subcontractor agreements including standard and special conditions tailored to specific trades
Responsibility for project completion documentation and assisting in compiling as-built documentation and Operation and Maintenance manuals
Preparation of cost control procedures and assist with monthly cost reports and forecasting of preliminaries and trade costs
Qualifications
Experience in contract administration practices and solid experience in a similar role
Tertiary qualifications in quantity surveying, construction management, construction law or other relevant discipline
Exposure to managing contracts within large project environments
Strong level of commercial acumen coupled with a demonstrated commitment to safety, teamwork and building strong relationships
