With a strong reputation for reliability and innovation, my client combines the agility of a mid-sized business with the opportunity to work on major, high-profile projects.Job DescriptionAssist in the preparation, review, and administration of contracts and subcontracts to ensure compliance with company policies and contractual obligations.Work closely with project managers and internal teams to gather information and provide visibility across budgets, claims, variations, and progress payments.Monitor contract milestones and manage variations, extensions of time (EoTs), and other commercial matters.Identify and mitigate potential risks within contracts while supporting dispute resolution when required.Maintain accurate records of all contract documentation, correspondence, and commercial queries.Serve as a key point of contact for contract-related queries, liaising with stakeholders and suppliers to ensure timely outcomes.Support continuous improvement by recommending enhancements to contract processes, policies, and systems.Provide administrative support to the contracts team as needed, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.The Successful ApplicantA successful Contracts Administrator should have:Proven experience in contract administration or a similar role.Ideally, a qualification in Law or Quantity Surveying.Strong knowledge of procurement and supply chain processes.Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.Ability to interpret and draft contract terms and conditions.Effective communication and negotiation skills.Proficiency in relevant software and systems.A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
