
Hotel Receptionist

We are a renowned luxury hotel located in the heart of Melbourne City, known for our exceptional service and exquisite accommodations. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and guest-focused individual to join our Front Office team as a Guest Service Agent.
**Key Responsibilities**:
Guest Relations:
- Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival.
- Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and professionally.
- Provide personalized service and anticipate guest needs to ensure a memorable experience.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and courteously, striving to resolve issues to the guest's satisfaction.
Front Desk Operations:
- Manage reservations, including booking, cancellations, and modifications.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to guest transactions and preferences.
- Process payments and ensure billing accuracy.
- Coordinate with other departments (housekeeping, maintenance, etc.) to fulfill guest requests and ensure seamless service delivery.
Communication and Coordination:
- Relay important information to guests and colleagues accurately.
- Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
**Requirements**:
- Proven 1.5yrs+ experience in a similar role within the hotel industry.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a genuine passion for guest satisfaction.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Availability to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Additional certifications in hospitality or related fields are advantageous.
