**About the centre**:
Our client is an early learning center based in Lugarno, Southern Sydney area.

Commencing immediately, they are seeking an experienced and professional Room leader to join their highly motivated Preschool Room team or if you have a room preference happy to negotiate.

**Key responsibilities include yet are not limited to**:

- Develop, plan and implement a quality child care and education program in consultation with the team and in line with the EYLF.
- Responsible for the guidance and support of less experienced staff within the team.
- Communicate positively and openly with children on an ongoing basis.
- Create a stimulating, positive and appropriate environment to foster and support development.
- Conduct observation and evaluation of children's development.
- Provide physical & emotional care, assisting children in daily routines and meal times.
- Maintain up to date records for each child within the group.
- Be responsible for the day to day running of the room, programming and various projects.
- Ensure the team work within the framework of the National Quality Standards and the EYLF.
- A diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent qualifications recognised by ACECQA.
- A current First Aid Certificate.
- An understanding and interest of all the developmental areas for children.
- Previous experience within a child care environment (highly regarded).
- An exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- An excellent presentation skills.
- The ability to build good rapport within the team and with children and their families.
- A flexible, motivated and reliable attitude.

**Salary**: $28.00 - $36.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Lugarno NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
