Overview
Turner & Townsend is seeking a skilledPMO Leadto join our infrastructure team supporting major programs in South-East Queensland.
This role will play a key part in coordinating program-wide controls, governance, and reporting functions.
Responsibilities
PMO Coordination– Lead the coordination of PMO resources, systems, and deliverables across multiple workstreams
Governance & Reporting– Drive governance processes and produce high-quality reporting for leadership and stakeholders
Program Communication– Ensure effective communication and information sharing across the program
Controls Implementation– Define and implement program-wide control systems, procedures, and documentation
Process Monitoring– Monitor and support internal processes to ensure alignment and consistency
Capability Development– Champion the ongoing development of program management capability within the client organisation
Qualifications
Extensive Experience– Minimum 10 years' experience in project controls, ideally within the rail sector
PMO Expertise– Strong background in PMO leadership, governance, and program reporting
Communication Skills– Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Systems Knowledge– Proven ability to manage cross-functional coordination and internal systems
On-Site Presence– Comfortable working on-site in a client office (minimum 3 days per week in Brisbane CBD)
Team-Oriented– A team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
