Job Description
Turner & Townsend is seeking a skilled PMO Lead to join our infrastructure team supporting major program's in South-East Queensland. This role will play a key part in coordinating program-wide controls, governance, and reporting functions.
- PMO Coordination – Lead the coordination of PMO resources, systems, and deliverables across multiple workstreams
- Governance & Reporting – Drive governance processes and produce high-quality reporting for leadership and stakeholders
- Program Communication – Ensure effective communication and information sharing across the program
- Controls Implementation – Define and implement program-wide control systems, procedures, and documentation
- Process Monitoring – Monitor and support internal processes to ensure alignment and consistency
- Capability Development – Champion the ongoing development of program management capability within the client organisation
Qualifications
We're looking for a collaborative and experienced professional who thrives in complex, fast-paced infrastructure environments.
- Extensive Experience – Minimum 10 years' experience in project controls, ideally within the rail sector
- PMO Expertise – Strong background in PMO leadership, governance, and program reporting
- Communication Skills – Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Systems Knowledge – Proven ability to manage cross-functional coordination and internal systems
- On-Site Presence – Comfortable working on-site in a client office (minimum 3 days per week in Brisbane CBD)
- Team-Oriented – A team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
