We are seeking an experienced and talented Global Design Quality Practice Lead to join our Product & Design team. This role will lead and manage the iteration of the design system, implement and conduct cloud-based clinical practice management software. In this role, you will ensure that the design of Helix is consistent and conforms to agreed standards for a global audience, while also ensuring that our products meet high quality standards.

**Responsibilities**
- Consolidate and manage the global Helix UUI ( HXUI) design system, ensuring consistency across all design initiatives and features
- Collaborate with product, design and engineering teams to identify gaps/debt and develop solutions to improve the overall user experience.
- Ensure design system documentation, style guides and design principles are aligned with the Helix product vision and brand guidelines.
- Define and implement processes for design feedback and review cycles, with a focus on continuous improvement and stakeholder alignment.
- Work with cross-functional teams to define product internationalisation requirements, including translation, localisation, and cultural consideration.
- Develop and maintain internationalisation guidelines and processes, ensuring that they are adhered to across all Helix product design efforts.
- Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to integrate internationalisation features into product development roadmaps
- Ensure that Helix products meet high-quality standards by developing and implementing and maintaining a comprehensive audit of design.
- Establish and maintain quality assurance processes, standards, and metrics to measure and report on product design quality
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify quality issues, develop solutions, and implement changes to improve the overall quality of our products.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities to improve the design systems, governance, product internalisation and quality.

**Knowledge & Experience Required**:

- 5+ years of experience in product design management with a focus on design system governance, internalisation and quality assurance.
- Experience developing an managing design systems and guidelines
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.
- Strong understanding of internationalisation and localisation practices, with experience implementing them in product design efforts.
- Strong written and verbal communication sills, with the ability to articulate design system governance, internationalisation and quality assurance concepts to a variety of stakeholders
- Strong leadership skills with experience leading cross-functional teams
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and solve complex design system, internationalisation and quality assurance challenges
- Bachelor's or Masters degree in Product/ UX Design or a related field
