Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled ICT Design Engineer to join our global team responsible for designing, planning, delivering, and operating AWS global infrastructure.


This role involves collaborating with diverse engineers to develop innovative solutions for the physical layer, including pathway, space, and cabling designs, as well as specifications for construction and permitting.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring timely delivery of scalable fiber optic & copper plant designs and specifications.
  • Reviewing and approving ICT pathway, cabling, and equipment submittals.
  • Identifying and responding to risks and high-priority issues rapidly and effectively.
  • Supporting new technology and design activities that improve infrastructure quality, reduce cost, and installation time.
  • Traveling 20%+ to review projects and coordinate with onsite personnel and contractors at AWS' Data Centers.
