Job Title: Senior Operations Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Operations Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and experience working with SCADA systems. You will also possess excellent problem-solving skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong commitment to safety.

In this role, you will:

  • Operate and maintain electrical systems and equipment, including generators, switchgear, and inverters.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspecting and testing electrical equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair complex electrical problems, using a range of diagnostic tools and techniques.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve project goals and objectives.

You will be required to travel to various sites, including solar farms and wind turbines, and work at heights and in confined spaces. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are essential for this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A trade qualification in electrical engineering (or equivalent)
  • Current Electrical License (unrestricted)
  • Construction White Card
  • Valid First Aid (CPR) & Low Voltage (LV) Rescue
  • HV Switching
  • Australian Work Rights
