We're looking for a Family Support Services Facilitator / Family Worker to join our **Access to Early Learning (AEL)** program — a role that makes a real difference for children and families experiencing vulnerability.

**About the Access to Early Learning program**

The AEL program supports 3- and 4-year-old children to participate in kindergarten by removing barriers and building strong connections between families, early childhood services, and the wider community.

You'll be part of a dedicated team providing outreach support, visiting families weekly, building trust, and working alongside parents, educators, and other professionals to help children thrive in their early years.

**Your role, your impact**
- Work directly with families to enroll and sustain children's participation in kindergarten.
- Build relationships through home and community visits, tailoring support to each family's needs.
- Collaborate with early childhood educators to meet learning and developmental goals.
- Address barriers such as family violence, disability, or mental health challenges by linking families with the right services.
- Facilitate case conferences and maintain child safety plans.
- Mentor educators and support professional development in the local early years sector.
- Keep accurate records and meet reporting requirements.

**Who we're looking for**

You're passionate about supporting children and families and bring:

- Experience working with families experiencing vulnerability.
- Knowledge of early childhood development and the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF).
- Understanding of trauma-informed, relational, and strength-based practice.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and networking skills.
- Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Early Childhood Education, or a related field (or extensive relevant experience).
- A current driver's license.
