Local Government seeking a Payroll Officer to join the team on a 1-year Fixed Term Contract

**Your new company**

A local government in the South Eastern Suburbs are offering a fantastic opportunity for a driven and dynamic Payroll Officer to join their payroll team on a fixed term, full time basis.

**Your new role**
- End to End payroll
- Monitor and respond to payroll enquires
- Fortnightly Payroll for all staff - up to 1300
- Maintain and update payroll information as required
- Assist the Senior Payroll Officer where required

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Experience working in payroll
- Vast knowledge of payroll legislation & compliance requirements
- Experience with Time Target or Chris 21 is beneficial
- Outstanding customer & people management skills
- Local government experience is beneficial
