**Position Overview**:
The Payroll Officer will be responsible for processing payroll for a medium to large workforce, ensuring compliance with all statutory obligations and delivering accurate payroll services to employees. This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional looking to join a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Process end-to-end payroll for a large, diverse workforce
- Maintain and update employee payroll records
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll in accordance with company policies
- Handle employee queries related to payroll and entitlements
- Manage superannuation, leave accruals, and taxation details
- Prepare and lodge payroll-related compliance reports (e.g., PAYG, BAS)
- Reconcile payroll accounts and make necessary adjustments
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams for payroll-related matters

**Skills and Experience**:

- Proven experience as a Payroll Officer, ideally in a high-volume payroll environment
- Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, tax regulations, and superannuation requirements
- Proficient in payroll software (Xero, MYOB)
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Experience with payroll compliance and reporting is desirable
- A certificate in payroll or related qualifications would be highly regarded

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 38 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Morning shift
- Shift work

Supplementary Pay:

**Experience**:

- Payroll: 1 year (preferred)
