We have an opportunity for a Customer Service Officer to join our Supply Chain & Logistics team based at Pinkenba. This role will work within the Customer Interface Team (CIT) which is at the heart of our logistics team and fundamental to ensuring we deliver on customer requirements. You would be the first point of contact with our customers to place orders for our products and enquire about their account activity, as well as for general enquiries for our business.
CIT is our customer service hub. It's a hive of energy and activity with lots of laughs that help the day go quickly This is a great role for you if you love a fast paced work environment, have great attention to detail and can comfortably deal with the occasional high pressure situations that are all part of being in our supply chain and logistics team.

**About the role**:

- Ensure a seamless high standard of service to our customers
- Investigate, resolve and respond to customer queries in a timely manner
- Provide proactive communication regarding deliveries and transportation issues
- Build long lasting relationships with our customers and internal stakeholders through your provision of friendly and dedicated customer service
- Support other business areas with queries regarding product availability and invoicing

**Roster/Hours of Work**
- Monday 9am-5pm
- Tuesday to Friday 8am-4pm
- Participate in Saturday roster coverage - approximately 1 shift every 9 weeks

**About you**:

- You thrive in a high volume order processing environment and can maintain resilience
- You have excellent communication and negotiation skills
- You love to learn and pick up new things quickly and easily
- You are able to maintain and develop customer relationships
- You have a strong eye for detail, even when processing orders on a busy day
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Excel
- Ideally, you will have experience within the transport / logistics industry
