About the role
We are currently seeking an Intelligence Analyst to join our team based at Acacia Prison. This is a full-time position and reports to the Intelligence Manager. In this role you will deliver all priority intelligence and information to the Department of Justice - Intelligence Services Directorate and SMT clearly, accurately and in a timely fashion. You will support the prison operational staff in making the best decisions they can in the management of the prisoners.

The highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour.
Qualification or training in Intelligence Operations, Diploma, or Higher degree in relevant Intelligence related field, or;
Relevant experience working in an intelligence role or similar with sound understanding of intelligence theory and practice.
Ability to produce high quality and timely strategic, tactical and operational intelligence. products in the form of assessments, reports and advice to support decision making.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Willingness to work a Monday to Friday roster, and attend site outside of normal working hours if there is an operational need.
Willingness to undertake additional training if required.
This is a position of trust and responsibility and to support this we will conduct a thorough probity assessment, which includes national police check as an essential selection component for this role.
