Our **Technical, Advisory, and Capability**practice and **Team Downer**serves as one of the Major Service Providers delivering consulting services and Integrated Work Packages across the Department of Defence, leveraging innovative approaches such as mission and digital engineering to enable the successful delivery of critical Defence programs.

This includes collaboration with key Defence entities, including **Defence Digital Group (DDG), National Shipbuilding and Sustainment Group (NSSG), Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG),**and branches across the **Navy, Army, and Air Force**.

We're interested in hearing from professionals specialising in **Risk Management**.

We are continually seeking skilled Risk Manager, Risk Analysis, Risk, Quality Assurance Manager for our consulting services and Integrated Work Packages.

If successful in securing a role, your work may involve:

- **Risk Identification & Assessment**- Evaluating potential threats to defence operations, infrastructure, and personnel to mitigate risks effectively.
- **Compliance & Regulatory Oversight**- Ensuring adherence to defence policies, industry standards, and legal requirements.
- **Risk Mitigation Strategies**- Developing and implementing frameworks to minimize operational, financial, and security risks.
- **Continuous Monitoring & Reporting**- Tracking risk trends, conducting audits, and providing reports to senior leadership.
- **Stakeholder Engagement & Crisis Management**- Collaborating with defence teams and external agencies to manage risks and respond to crises
- Strong **experience**in Risk Management**within Defence, government, or professional services.
- Experience in identifying, evaluating, and implementing strategies to minimize operational and security risks.
- Familiarity with defence policies, industry standards, and legal frameworks to ensure adherence to regulations.

Proven ability to collaborate with teams, manage risk-related communications, and respond effectively to crises.

Our work is **highly complex and confidential;**applicants must be Australian citizens with a minimum NV1 security clearance. Additionally, compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements may be necessary. In some cases, this may impose restrictions individuals who are dual citizens, permanent residency, or former nationality of specific countries as outlined in ITAR 126.1.
