About the Role

This is a key position that will contribute to the development and implementation of our enterprise-wide risk management framework. As a Risk Management Specialist, you will work closely with our senior leadership team to identify, assess, and mitigate risks that could impact our business objectives.

  • You will be responsible for developing and maintaining risk assessments, identifying controls to mitigate risks, and monitoring the effectiveness of these controls.
  • You will also provide guidance and support to other teams on risk management best practices and ensure that they are aware of their roles and responsibilities in managing risk.
  • Your expertise will be essential in helping us to build a strong risk culture within the organization, ensuring that all employees understand the importance of risk management and their individual roles in mitigating risk.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, finance, or governance;
  • At least 6-10 years of experience in risk management, preferably in a similar role;
  • Strong knowledge of risk management frameworks, including COSO and ISO 31000;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex risk concepts to non-technical stakeholders;
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, building strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders;
  • A growth mindset, with a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development;
  • A strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical context.
