Lancemore Crossley St Hotel is seeking friendly, experienced, and well-presented Team Members who align with our culture of delivering outstanding customer service.
We are currently hiring for a casual position in our front of house reception team.
About The Role
Portage of guest luggage to and from suites.
Assist with reservation enquiries, including rates, availability, packages, and facilities.
Check guests in and out accurately and promptly.
Greet all guests courteously, ensuring guest names are used at all times.
Handle guest enquiries and provide information on local attractions and directions.
Answer all telephone calls professionally within three rings.
Inform guests of available facilities and services.
Set up guest accounts accurately.
Reconcile cashier floats at the end of each shift, maintaining accuracy.
Document all transactions and account/reservation alterations.
Communicate with team members on subsequent shifts to ensure service continuity.
Promptly relay guest requests and issues to appropriate departments.
Action special requests timely and appropriately.
Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the front desk at all times.
Collect payments and issue receipts.
Maintain professional dress and grooming standards.
Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Front Office Manager or management.
Embody the Crossley Street Hotel culture of exceeding guest expectations with a 'Yes We Can' attitude.
About You
Passionate about delivering exceptional guest satisfaction.
Enjoy working in a team with high employee engagement.
Knowledge of front office administrative duties, including reservations, cash handling, and reception, is advantageous.
Flexible to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Proactive, positive, and passionate about the hospitality industry.
