**Analyst, Budgeting and Management Reporting**
- Join the new Department of Enterprise, Investment and Trade
- Clerk Grade 5/6 with starting salary of $89,707
- Ongoing role based in Sydney

**About the Role**

The primary focus of the role is to support the delivery of expert advice, analysis, reports, and reliable financial information to senior management in relation to budgeting, financial management and performance management, to support financial and budget management of the Department of Enterprise, Investment and Trade (DEIT) cluster.

You will be required to collate high-quality financial, budget, and operational performance data across the cluster and forecast budget tracking and forecasting projections.

Maintain and grow effective relationships across the DEIT business units and maintain a high-performance work ethic whilst developing solutions and options to resolve issues that are impacting on performance.

Support the agencies activities in relation to the annual State Budget processes and maintain the development of business cases and Cabinet Submissions on capital budgeting, financial and accountability reporting.

**About You**
- You must have proven ability to maintain high standards and integrity in relation to data quality, data collection and report generation
- Have knowledge and understanding of, public financial management, including the annual State Budget process and public sector policy processes
- Experience in relevant finance systems, including SAP and/or Prime (NSW Treasury's bespoke Budget management system)
- Have demonstrated commitment to achieve desired work outcomes and are able to meet strict deadlines with relevant professional experience
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite, particularly Microsoft Excel
