Job Title: Financial Strategic Advisor

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead annual budgeting and forecasting. The successful candidate will collaborate with the Finance Manager to consolidate departmental budgets and forecasts into an integrated organisational budget.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting activities
  • Closely work with the Finance Manager to consolidate departmental budgets and forecasts into a comprehensive organisational plan
  • Prepare and present monthly management reports, forecasts and variance analyses to inform decision-making
  • Monitor grant/project budgets, funding and expenditure tracking to ensure effective resource allocation
  • Liaise with research administration office to confirm deliverables and compliance timelines
  • Prepare accurate and timely grant acquittals to ensure financial integrity
  • Partner with Research Leaders and Business Unit Managers to provide strategic financial insight and support informed decision-making
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field of study
  • Previous experience in financial analysis, budgeting and financial management, with a strong understanding of accounting principles
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in financial modelling, budgeting and forecasting tools
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
