About the role
Our Charmhaven facility employs 200 people and is expanding rapidly. Reporting to the Facility Manager & People and Culture Manager you will have experience in all facets of human resources management and the ability to support, implement and maintain the delivery of our WHS model across our production facilities.
Key responsibilities for this position include:

- Human Resource activities including recruitment and selection, the provision of advice and support to supervisors and managers, HR administration, implementation and the coordination of our performance review process.
- The provision of strategy, leadership and guidance to improve safety performance
- Active involvement in the implementation of new company-wide initiatives
- Implementing and maintaining systems to prevent injury and illness
- Developing, implementing and maintaining safe work practices
- Incident investigation, recommendation of appropriate corrective actions, and subsequent follow up to ensure corrective actions are implemented
- Coordination of appropriate risk mitigation
- Ensuring WHS compliance

To be successful you will have:

- HR/WHS experience within a similar environment
- Exceptional influencing and communication skills across all levels of employee/management
- Demonstrated understanding of risk assessment and risk management practices
- A high level of professionalism in all aspects of your work
- The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
