Spinal Life Australia is a non-profit organisation that provides expert knowledge, specialist therapies and support tailored for people with spinal cord injuries and other physical disabilities. We're the largest provider of support services to people living with spinal cord injuries in Australia for over 60 years.
**What are we looking for?**
We are looking for someone who has superior attention to detail and amazing interpersonal skills. This role requires someone who is consistently accurate, has meticulous administrative skills and exceptional customer service.
As the first point of contact with Spinal Life Australia you will provide a professional, friendly and warm welcome to all visitors including members, clients, staff, health care professionals and community. As part of the Customer Engagement Team, you will be responsible for the effective day to day administration, monitoring and preparation of service agreements/quotes for our allied health services.
**What will I do?**
**Administration & Financial Management**:
- Calculate and prepare accurate service agreements/quotes regarding various funding sources.
- Monitoring current and development of new service quotes for allied health services.
- Rostering and calculation of kms for allied heath therapists' appointments.
- Booking and confirming appointments, maintenance of therapist waitlist.
- Scanning and filing of documentation.
**Customer Engagement Team**:
- Be friendly and welcoming to all visitors to the centre either face to face or by telephone.
- Efficiently allocate incoming calls within the business and/or taking messages appropriately.
- Accurately manage bookings online and via telephone for allied health services.
- Operate and process HICAPS, EFTPOS payments for allied health clients.
- Supporting SLA personnel with the completion of relevant paperwork, scheduling of appointments and general duties.
**What's needed to be successful?**
- High level of attention to detail, with the ability to work with speed and accuracy.
- Experience and ability to manage extensive multiple moving and conflict deadlines.
- Ability to work both within a team and independently.
- Understanding of various funding bodies would be an advantage.
- Supply a Covid 19 Certificate of Vaccination as per the Qld Health Direction for workers in a healthcare setting.
- You will also need to complete the free online NDIS Worker Orientation Module
