You will prepare and process orders while monitoring stock levels and checking inventory levels.Ideally, you will have experience and exposure within a manufacturing environment and be open to learning the necessary trade and skills to be successful.The Role & About You :Pre-start exercises prior to work commencing each dayComplete forklift pre-start checklist daily (as required, needs to change gas cylinder on the forklift)Cut straps off stock and remove top sheet of 'fence' productPut stock away (palletized and non-palletized product)Stack accessories SKUs onto shelvesPerform housekeeping duties – clear debris such as broken timbers and fibre cement sheets from the floor to ensure areas are clean and safeHold a valid Driver's LicenseHave excellent attention to detail with strong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to perform manual labor around the plant as requiredHold a valid Forklift licenseManual handling of up to 20kgsBe reliable and punctual with a strong work ethicLoad products onto trucks for customer deliveriesReceive and check customer purchase requestsFill out dockets and confirm completion of ordersPlace gluts onto packs to assist in loadingPick and load accessories (e.g., buckets, bags, strips)Handle Top Hats, capping, and other long accessories / splitting packs (e.g., flat sheets, trim, and columns)Sort through damaged stocks and strap packs for transportPerform any ad hoc duties as requiredBenefits of working at James Hardie :Bonus scheme for all eligible employeesDiscounts on James Hardie products2 volunteer days per yearEmployee rewards and benefits, including a recognition programAccess to thousands of free self-development modules via James Hardie UniversityFree annual health checksEmployee Assistance Program access for you and your immediate family membersApplication closing date: 17th September 2025As part of our recruitment process, a talent pool will be created for applicants who have been assessed and identified for similar roles across our plants.Apply For Job
