Job Title

A regional warehouse operations specialist is required to manage and improve the performance of our franchised warehouses.

  • The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of influencing and negotiating with internal and external stakeholders to achieve business outcomes.
About the Role

This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced professional to make a significant impact on our business. As a regional warehouse operations specialist, you will be responsible for monitoring, evaluating, and reviewing the operations of our franchised warehouses to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

  • You will work closely with franchise proprietors and warehouse managers to develop capabilities within their teams and identify improvements to implement at each site.
Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Reviewing current practices and conducting assessments to provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Assisting in staff recruitment and performance management.
  • Visiting assigned warehouse sites to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety requirements.
  • Developing initiatives to improve warehouse operations.
  • Providing operational training and coaching to proprietors, warehouse managers, and administration managers.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • At least 5 years of experience in retail warehouse operations.
  • A high level of written and verbal communication skills.
  • Great time management, planning, and organisational skills.
  • Experience in managing multiple sites and coordinating with diverse stakeholders.
  • The ability to travel to multiple warehouse sites within metropolitan and regional areas.
  • In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, occupational health and safety, and retail practices.
