We are seeking an inspiring and visionary educational leader to join our Executive team as Deputy Principal of Teaching and Learning commencing in 2026.
This is a key leadership role that will shape the learning culture of the College and ensure every student is supported and challenged to achieve their potential.
The Deputy Principal – Teaching and Learning will:
• Lead the development, implementation, and review of teaching and learning programs.

• Drive innovative pedagogy, curriculum design, and assessment practices to improve student outcomes.

• Support and mentor staff in building capacity through professional learning and coaching.

• Lead, guide and mentor Heads of Learning and other academic leaders in driving the College's vision for learning.

• Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

• Work closely with the Principal and Leadership Team to strategically plan for future growth and success.

Selection Criteria
• Proven ability to lead, inspire and mentor academic leaders and teaching staff in a secondary school setting.

• Demonstrated success in building teacher capacity through mentoring, coaching, professional learning, and collaborative practice.

• A strong understanding of curriculum, assessment, and reporting frameworks, with the ability to drive innovation and improvement.

• Possess thorough understanding of curriculum, senior school pathways and timetabling.

• Experience with EDVAL and timetabling (desirable)
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills with the ability to build positive relationships with all stakeholders.

• Evidence of strategic thinking, innovation, and leading school improvement in an educational leadership role.

• Relevant qualifications in education, with leadership accreditation (or willingness to obtain).
Qualifications Required
• Working With Children.

• TRBWA registration.

• 4 year Education tertiary qualification as minimum - candidates holding a current Masters Qualification or enrolment in Masters will be highly regarded.

• Accreditation for Leadership of a Catholic School.
Or demonstration that applicant is working towards application.
