With an expected mine life of 30+ years, it will underpin a long-term iron ore business and provide sustainable benefits to the regional community in which we operate. The operation includes a large open pit mine, complex ore processing and beneficiation plant and significant infrastructure and logistics networks.

We have an opportunity for a qualified and experienced site based **Human Resources Advisor **to join our dynamic HR team, based at our Karara Mine Site on a FIFO roster that strikes a good balance for anyone who enjoys working a shorter and flexible roster.

Reporting to the HR Superintendent, you will play an integral role in partnering with our business leaders and management, to help improve the effectiveness of site operations and build a high performance culture.

**Key responsibilities;**
- Supporting compliance with company, legislative and statutory requirements
- Support to line managers in performance management, disciplinary procedures, and grievance resolution.
- Working with the HR team to ensure consistency across sites
- Providing HR coaching, advice, policy and procedure interpretation to managers and employees
- Coordination of site based annual performance review processes
- Implementation of HR policies and documentation to remain current with legislation
- HR data management of reporting, surveys, salary review data
- Providing guidance and administrative support for employee life-cycle management processes
- HR reporting and analytics
- Lead and support HR retention and workforce engagement projects

**Essential Qualifications and experience;**
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role within an industrial or mining environment
- Current knowledge of applicable Australian state and federal employment legislation
- A practical, can-do approach with the ability to build credibility with both management and employees
- Ability to use initiative and adapt to change
- HR Qualification
- National Police Clearance
- **Permanent work rights in Australia**
