Human Resources Advisor Role

The Human Resources Advisor will provide comprehensive HR advisory services to leaders and employees in allocated divisions, acting as a trusted People & Culture Partner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve the employee experience for allocated divisions by analyzing feedback and metrics.
  • Manage grievance processes and conduct investigations, collaborating with the IR Manager to ensure fair outcomes.
  • Monitor and evaluate staff induction and exit interview feedback, making recommendations for improvement to enhance employee satisfaction.
  • Provide advice and assistance to leaders in resolving employment changes, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and company policies.
  • Support leaders in developing position descriptions for specified divisions, ensuring accurate and up-to-date job requirements.
  • Participate in projects as required, including research and preparation of documents for review and implementation of recommendations.
Requirements:
  • Possession of a relevant tertiary qualification in a field related to Human Resources or a related discipline.
  • Previous experience in a corporate environment providing HR advice and support.
Skills:
  • Ability to interact with various stakeholders and build effective relationships through strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of federal and state employment legislation, including knowledge of applicable laws and regulations.
  • Demonstrated capacity to promote and uphold People & Culture values, including discretion and confidentiality.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage workload effectively, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
  • Well-developed problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop creative solutions.
