Add expected salary to your profile for insightsThe Senior Change Manager is a specialist program and project support role within the Group Change function that supports the delivery of significant change in line with strategic priorities.
This role is responsible for assessing business change needs and developing strategies for the timely and successful implementation of change across A&G, as applicable to role assignments.Position AccountabilitiesChange Management: Develop and implement change management strategies, plans, and deliverables to enable adoption.
Lead cross-functional teams to deliver initiatives, identify risks, and manage mitigation.Project & Team Leadership: Provide change guidance to projects and programs.
Determine strategies from impact assessment to business-as-usual transition.
Lead teams, coach members, provide QA oversight, and advocate for employees.Governance & Risk: Ensure governance compliance, identify stakeholders, facilitate communication, and manage change risks.Change Leadership: Represent Change and People & Culture professionally, building positive relationships with stakeholders.What experience you'll bringProven experience in leading transformational change management initiatives in Risk Management, Insurance, Technology or a related fieldMinimum of 5 - 10 years' experience in roles specifically related to change management, organisational development, or transformation initiativesDemonstrated ability to build effective relationships, and influence, executive support, senior leaders, contractors, and other key stakeholdersStrong communication and negotiation skills, including the ability to synthesise and present information in written and verbal formsDemonstrated ability to develop and deliver full cycle, end to end, change programs and related activities and deliverables.Experience across a range of enterprise programs such as organisational restructuring, technology and business process adoption, culture and capability.Postgraduate qualification in Change Management or related discipline (such as learning, organisational development, psychology)Project and change management certifications will be considered (such as Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP), APMG Change Management Practitioner, Human Centred Design, Customer Experience)Familiarity with risk, transformations and/or culture change programsCreative Change and/or employee engagement design, including immersive experience/training/ event design, would be advantageousLocation: ToowongClose to a variety of public transport and easy parking options, the Toowong office has excellent end of trip facilities (including secure bike storage and showers), outdoor spaces and plenty of modern collaborative areas to work and connect with colleagues.Conveniently based at Toowong Village tower with views of the mountains and the Brisbane River, our location is only 4 km from the city and provides access to retail, restaurants and other amenities.The benefits of working at A&GBe rewarded ...Unlock job insightsSalary match Number of applicants Skills matchInsurance & Superannuation 1,001-5,000 employeesAuto & General (A&G) is the fastest-growing major Motor and Home insurer in Australia.
