**The Company**
The organisation boasts a state of the art manufacturing plant and offers complete contract manufacturing solutions to the personal care and beauty industries. They are a key partner to some of the industries' leading brands and produce private label solutions.

**The Role**
As the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, you will have a key mandate to improve maintenance processes, planning and policies across the site in order to increase plant up time, reduce breakdown frequency and build a reliability-based culture. You will also be responsible for facilities management, CAPEX project management, installation and training and plant upgrades.

With a primary focus on working hand in hand with Production, the Manufacturing Engineering Manager will mentor, develop and lead the maintenance team improving and/or implementing advanced maintenance methodologies including preventative and predictive maintenance planning, Root Cause Analysis, Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM), Quick Changeover and create SOP's for all maintenance and engineering processes across the site.

As a key member of the leadership team, you will be heavily focused on Safety and Continuous Improvement across the site. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and experience in implementing C.I initiatives (eg.5s, Quick Changeover, Bottleneck Analysis, Kaizen, Visual Stream Mapping, etc) would be beneficial as the business embarks on a journey of Manufacturing Excellence. Knowledge and experience in PLC controls such as Alan Bradley will be critical to this role.

**Skills & Experience**
- Tertiary qualified in Mechatronics, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- At least 10 years experience in personal care, pharmaceutical or food production environments
- Possess a proven track record in leading and holding full accountability of plant maintenance and engineering projects.
- A trade background would also be beneficial.
- Possess strengths across leadership, influencing, continuous improvement and understand the pace and quality expectations working within the fast-moving consumer goods industry.
- Hands-on leader and possess excellent communication skills.
