Spare Parts Assistant

About the Role:
Rentcorp Hyundai Forklifts are seeking an experienced parts store person or parts interpreter from relevant trades who are looking to transition into the material handling industry and assist with the operation of our workshop and large parts inventory in Sydney. This is an excellent opportunity to excel in a proactive, well backed, national company & develop your career.
Requirements & Experience:
Experience with stock controlling, parts procurement and general mechanical knowledge is required.
Applicants from relevant trades (warehousing, procurement, automotive trades) are invited to apply. Forklift mechanical training provided.
Excellent communication & interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate effectively with suppliers, colleagues & customers.
Strong computer/mobile literacy are required. Training provided for our inventory management software (AroFlo, Microsoft O365) and spare parts processing.
Be well presented with a high level of initiative, self-motivation and effective problem-solving skills. Open to learning and developing new skills.
Ability to accept and develop greater responsibility within the company over time, including assisting the workshop with machinery preparation and detailing.
Current driver's licence required.
Forklift & Order Picker licence (LO/LF) is an advantage.
