**How your role makes a difference**

As the RTO Lead for VET + Innovation you will have a deep understanding of TAFE/RTO operations and structures, coupled with expertise in navigating various State and Territories (S+T) arrangements.

You will make a real impact in ensuring that Australia's present and future workforce have the skills necessary to drive and grow our booming industries by:

- **Leadership**: Provide visionary leadership to drive the success of projects and initiatives across RTOs related initiatives and related projects.
- **Project Management**: Oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build positive relationships with diverse stakeholders, including RTO administrators, educators, industry partners, and government representatives.
- **Working Groups Management**: Coordinate working groups of internal and external stakeholders, facilitating collaboration and leveraging collective expertise.
- **Consultations Management**: Organise and lead consultations to gather insights, feedback, and recommendations from stakeholders, informing strategic decision-making.
- **Policy Compliance**: Keep up to date and informed of relevant policies, regulations, and guidelines impacting TAFE/RTO and State and Territory initiatives, ensuring compliance and alignment with organisational objectives.
- **Resource Allocation**: Optimise the allocation of resources, including personnel, funding, and equipment, to maximise project outcomes and deliverables.
- **Reporting**: Prepare comprehensive reports, presentations, and updates on project progress, outcomes, and future plans for internal and external stakeholders.

**Even better**:

- Experience in working with Finance, Business and Technology sector representatives
- Experience with developing training programs and/or resources for RTOs
- Experience in promoting courses and pathways for RTOs

We are a not-for-profit organisation who are focused on designing, trialling and scaling new ways of training to equip learners with the digital skills needed to meet a rapidly changing, technological future. This has been amazing and satisfying work.

Building on our success to date we are the Jobs and Skills Council (JSC) for the Finance, Technology and Business (FTB) Sectors where we work with employers, training providers, and Governments to ensure the relevancy of skills training. **Our key selection criteria**:

- A relevant tertiary qualification in education, training, or a related field.
- Proven experience working within the VET sector and RTOs, with a strong understanding of its operations and structures.
- Excellent leadership abilities with a track record of successfully managing teams and projects.
- Proven high-level communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to tailor information for different stakeholders and make the complex simple.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
