Reporting to General Manager Operations, we are inviting interest from exceptional people who can drive efficiencies across the workplace and ensure our residents and our workforce are fully supported.

This role will be a roving position for our 11 Homes within the Central Melbourne Region.

**Skills Required**:

- Experience in aged care management, preferably in residential setting
- Demonstrated understanding of quality management systems
- Previous experience in the recruitment of staff, rostering and performance management
- Highly organized - demonstrates can manage own responsibilities and priorities and assist others to do the same.
- Previous experience in building and maintaining a team
- Proven ability to manage to a financial budget and ensure overall profit result is achieved
- Proven ability to manage conflict situations
- Demonstrated high level of Computer literacy - particularly Outlook, Word, Excel
- Ability to provide staff training and coaching

**Desirable**
- Nurse Division 1 with current registration
- Tertiary qualifications in Gerontology and / or Business Management

**Key accountabilities**
- Ensure outstanding resident care is consistently delivered in line with BlueCross and customer expectations
- Marketing of residence within the local community and referrer network
- External contractor service management to ensure service standards are met (including but not limited to; gardening, physiotherapy, pharmacy)
- Roster management/optimization
- Budget planning, management and delivery - with particular focus on Occupancy, funding income and staff management (Agency useage)
- Revenue growth - with emphasis on the marketing and advocacy of an Additional Service Package that provides a strong value proposition for consumers
- Work with the Client Services team, referrers and the local community to ensure the residence is offering a service that people wish to access
- Participate in company meetings, reviews, training, special projects and/or activities as requested
- Staff management and development - with particular focus on the STARFish Principles
