About the Role

We are seeking a part-time Guest Service Agent to join our team. As a Roving Night Guest Service Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests and residents across three properties in Melbourne's CBD.

Your primary focus will be on delivering a welcoming and positive experience to our guests, addressing their requests and needs promptly, and ensuring 100% satisfaction. You will also be involved in concierge-style services, such as arranging parcel deliveries, booking common area reservations, and coordinating repairs.

As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in maintaining the high standard of service that we strive for. This includes monitoring the premises to ensure the safety and security of our guests, residents, staff, and property, conducting regular security rounds, and responding promptly to emergencies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet, assist, and engage with guests, residents, and staff across all properties
  • Address guest requests, provide recommendations, upsell services, and ensure their needs are met promptly
  • Proactively share guest feedback with management, identifying areas for improvement
  • Assist residents with concierge-style services, such as arranging parcel deliveries and booking common area reservations
  • Monitor the premises to ensure the safety and security of guests, residents, staff, and property
  • Respond promptly to emergencies and be well-versed in emergency protocols

Requirements

  • 6 Months' experience as a Guest Service Agent or receptionist in a hotel is desirable but not essential
  • Exceptional customer service skills, communication, and time management skills
  • A friendly and outgoing personality
  • Proven ability to work unsupervised
  • Flexibility to work weekends and evening shifts including public holidays
