Are you passionate about communications and looking for a role where you will have the opportunity to drive the creative strategy and deliver an engaging communications program? This is the role for you
The Global Internal Communications team is looking for an experienced Internal Communications Manager to develop and execute communications strategies for our divisions within Macquarie's Risk Management Group (RMG). This is a 12 month maternity leave cover. As a key member of our agile and collaborative team you will play a key role in providing communications support to the global divisional leadership team and stakeholders, contribute to the development of strategic communications initiatives, campaigns and processes and support our people to communicate effectively.
In this role your day will consist of:
- Developing and executing effective communications strategies for our RMG divisions, in partnership with our global RMG Communications team, to audiences within and outside of RMG
- Aligning divisional messaging and plans with our global RMG internal communications strategy, while proactively managing divisional communication channels and campaigns
- Managing staff events, including Town Halls, and developing high-quality written communication materials including leadership messages, briefing notes, internal social media posts (Workplace), intranet (SharePoint) pages and visually appealing presentations
- Supporting our divisions in communicating with stakeholders, including messaging and support of various communication channels and forums and identifying content opportunities
- Ensuring consistency of messaging across all communication materials while maintaining alignment to the RMG strategy
- Supporting the messaging, coordination and scheduling of our key projects and change across the division
To be successful in this role, you'll be confident in your ability to develop relationships at all levels including acting as a partner to senior leaders, be highly collaborative, a team player and a natural problem solver. You are proactive, organised and people-oriented, with an intuitive and innovative approach to your work. You will have a strong customer and risk mindset and be able to navigate ambiguity.
You have excellent written and verbal communications skills, great attention to detail and strong planning skills. You will have similar experience in a communications role, the ability to coordinate multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment and be able to work efficiently in a geographically dispersed team with global stakeholders.
If this sounds like the next step in your career, then we would like to hear from you
