Description
You will support older people to live their best life, supporting them to live independently at home by helping them with everyday activities.
What You'll Be Doing
Provide personalised domestic assistance services that empower seniors to maintain their independence.
Perform housekeeping tasks, including cleaning, laundry and organising while respecting the client's preferences and capabilities.
Assist with meal preparation, taking into account individual dietary needs and preferences.
Foster a warm and supportive relationship with clients, promoting social interaction and emotional well-being
Monitor clients\' physical and mental health, promptly reporting any changes to ensure their safety and well-being.
What you need to be successful in this role
Previous experience in cleaning and laundry and/or aged care
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with client and their families
Reliability, patience and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of seniors
Full Driver's Licence and reliable registered vehicle
Current Police Clearance (less than 6 months) and First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
It is recommended that you will have 2 COVID Vaccinations and an up-to-date Flu vaccination
Availability for a minimum of 20 hours per fortnight providing you with guaranteed working hours with the flexibility to be available for a minimum of three days Monday - Friday working between the hours of 9am - 4pm (must be available on Fridays)
