Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to fill the role of Domestic Support Assistant. This position involves providing domestic assistance services to customers, connecting them with their local support network and promoting their independence.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be enthusiastic and engaging with customers, and have a strong understanding of professional boundaries and privacy issues.

  • Previous experience working with seniors and those living with disability is desirable but not essential.
  • Good written communication, computer, and mobile device skills are necessary for this role.
  • A proactive approach to safety and wellbeing is also highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing domestic assistance services to customers in their homes.
  • Building relationships with customers and their families.
  • Communicating effectively with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Assisting with daily tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
  • Ensuring customer safety and wellbeing at all times.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • Current Western Australian Drivers Licence.
  • Own vehicle.
  • Rights to work in Australia.
  • Current First Aid Certificate.

Desirable Qualities:

  • Experience working in a care or support environment.
  • Knowledge of NDIS policies and procedures.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
