Join a Leading Family-Owned Equipment Hire Company | Embrace Work FlexibilityDrive Success through Exciting Major Projects Across IndustriesCompetitive Compensation + Dual Cab Hilux & Fuel Card + Profit Share SchemeAbout the roleKennards Hire is seeking a Project Manager who is driven by success, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is known for building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.Reporting to the Site Manager, this role is part of the Kennards Major Projects division and is responsible for supporting individual major projects on site with our Tier 1 customers in Adelaide, SA.The Project Manager will collaborate with nearby Hire branches to meet the business needs of our major project customers and coordinate on-site tasks to ensure customer satisfaction and financial targets are achieved.ResponsibilitiesEnd-to-end management of projects for Kennards Major Projects Customers.Plan project equipment levels to meet customer needs.Develop and maintain strong customer relationships and networks.Prepare reports and improvement actions, manage project profitability, and complete safety work method statements.Assist with subcontractor purchase orders and coordinate site scheduling, including deliveries.Handle general project administration and correspondence with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and consultants.Manage assets effectively.Travel may be required for remote projects.Required skills & experiencePrevious experience engaging with customers in a management or supervisory role, with effective delegation and delivery skills.Strong financial acumen and experience managing P&L statements.Experience in the building or construction industry.Current driver's license.Ability to multitask and manage schedules efficiently.Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
