The role of a Digital Conversion Strategist is to create and drive online conversion optimisation strategies for our enterprise clients websites. Ideally suited to someone from an agency or freelance background, or a keen ecommerce professional wanting to broaden their skills with an industry leader.

The Role in a Nutshell:
You will be responsible for the successful creation and management of the digital conversion strategy for our client's brands. From conceptualising their strategy based on qualitative and quantitative research tactics, you will create and maintain their testing and personalisation roadmap which will be continually monitored and updated throughout their engagement. This includes gathering and summarising research, performing stakeholder interviews, facilitating strategy workshops with clients to gain clarity and alignment on goals, collaborating with creative teams, and developing recommendations to establish project direction. You'll also serve as a digital marketing consultant in day-to-day interactions with both internal and external project teams, helping to solve problems and craft exceptional user experiences. The Digital Strategist will be expected to speak knowledgeably up and down the marketing stack including web analytics, conversion optimisation, SEO, PPC and customer retention to name a few.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop recommendations for project direction based on research, industry knowledge, digital best practices, collaboration with creative teams, and established client goals
- Get deep into the data to identify opportunities to A/B test and effectively incorporate those findings
- Continually update the strategy based on learnings from A/B tests and personalisation experiences
- Create low fidelity designs of proposed solutions
- Create or contribute to various documents and presentations such as; customer journeys, and digital strategy roadmaps
- Support CRO Account Managers, and Project Services personnel by providing clear strategic direction and inspiration to both clients and internal project teams
- Participate in new business development meetings and presentations when required and partner with the Executive Team to drive client satisfaction and growth in key accounts
- Keep up with technology trends such as web, mobile, CRM, and social, and participate in regular knowledge exchanges with peers
- Experiment with new tools and techniques to constantly improve our strategic processes and output
- Assist the discovery and research in early project stages: conduct stakeholder interviews, guide primary and secondary research, review analytics and other materials in order to distill findings for project teams

**Required Skills and Experience**
- A clear reference to a proven marketing methodology which can be demonstrated through your strategy approach
- At least 5-7 years experience working in an agency or brand-side environment with exposure to digital marketing and ecommerce
- In-depth knowledge of digital marketing and respective tactics
- In-depth knowledge of web analytics, including; how to implement and draw insights from Google Analytics and other web analytics software; understand segmentation, conversions, and user behavior metrics
- Experience running A/B testing programs, and improving overall conversion rates
- Familiar with various ecommerce platforms, including; website build process and supply chain management
- Relentless problem-solving skills and the ability to assess and resolve complex challenges for varied client needs
- Ability to create professional-looking documents and presentations coupled with strong presentation and speaking skills
- Strong analytical abilities and the ability to carefully manage details
- Ability and desire to collaborate effectively with a wide range of team members, including colleagues and clients with varying professional backgrounds and specialties
- Ability to work across multiple projects at once in a fast-paced and self-driven environment
- Ability to focus and work under pressure during tight deadlines with humor, tact and professionalism
- Comfortable in leading conversations with ecommerce and marketing directors, marketing VPs, and other high-level client stakeholders
