The Cloud Ground Control (CGC) Marketing Manager is responsible for creating, delivering and executing all marketing strategies and activities across the CGC robotics cloud-based platform. This includes interactive product demonstrations linking CGC to various robotic, drone and autonomous vehicles around the world across land, air, marine and subsea.
- The role is responsible for collaborating with product managers, sales, developers and other marketing and communication team members to further drive awareness, customer engagement and credibility for SaaS.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, they will guide the CGC brand vision, oversee content, messaging, storytelling, attend industry events and contribute to the overall go-to-market strategy to drive lead generation.
To excel as the CGC Marketing Manager, it's expected to have a keen interest in robotics, PC streaming and/or drone technologies, possess in-depth knowledge of software market dynamics and best digital practices.
**Role Responsibilities**:
- Develop and implement CGC marketing strategies aligned with the business objectives and goals
- Identify target markets, segments, and customer personas to inform marketing plans
- Develop and maintain a strong and consistent brand vision and identity for CGC
- Drive lead generation efforts through various marketing channels, including digital marketing, content marketing, events, and partnerships. Collaborate with the sales team to optimise lead conversion rates.
- Develop and execute product marketing strategies to effectively communicate the value proposition of CGC's hardware and software portfolio
- Create compelling messaging, positioning, and sales collateral
- Develop a content strategy that positions CGC as a leader in cloud-robotics
- Create and manage the production of high-quality content, including blog articles, case studies, and videos
- Work closely with the public relations team to create opportunities for press coverage such as events, campaigns and public demonstrations
- Plan and execute industry events, trade shows, webinars, and conferences to generate brand awareness and lead generation opportunities.
- Develop and manage the CGC marketing budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively across various marketing initiatives. Monitor expenses, track ROI, and provide regular reports to the MarComms team
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new opportunities and inform marketing strategies
- Align marketing strategies with business objectives. Communicate marketing plans, progress, and results to internal stakeholders.
**Qualifications, Experience & Skills**:
- 5+ years experience in a similar role for a SaaS, drone or robotics company
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
- Experience with creating and implementing SaaS marketing strategy that drives customer acquisition
- Experience with content creation that stands out and drives website traffic
- Ability to clearly communicate results, key findings, and areas of opportunity
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding commitments
- Strong ability to multitask
- Previous experience in B2B
- Experience with building partnerships
- An action-oriented and results driven individual
- Bachelor Degree or Post Degree in Business or Marketing
- Strong interest in the drones and robotics industry
