Based at our new long life mining project located at Cataby, north of Perth - some 100kms along the Brand Highway, you will be working in one of the largest most modern dry mining mineral sands operations in the world with multiple open pits spanning over 20kms.

About The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Process Control Specialist to join our Cataby mining operation.

The Cataby mining operation is located near the Town of Dandaragan, approximately 150 kilometres north of Perth. The position is offered on a Drive in Drive out (DIDO) basis, on a family-friendly 5/2 4/3 roster.

The core responsibilities of the role include:
- Supporting the operational site in all aspects of plant process control systems, network maintenance and development- Perform PLC and SCADA programming/configuration changes for upgrade projects or identified operational improvements- Providing after-hours support (troubleshooting) if required to ensure operating plant downtime is minimised and plant integrity is not compromised- Identifying changes to plant and/or procedures which will contribute to cost reduction and improved efficiency of operation- Assist with continuous improvement of plant process control systems

About You

To be successful in the role, you will have:
- Engineering, computing qualifications and/or an electrical trade background- Previous experience in an industrial or mining environment- Experience with SCADA configuration and development- Experience with PLC and DCS programming and fault-finding- Strong communication skills, motivation to work within a team, and high attention to detail- Previous experience in project management- 'C' Class Manual driver's license
