Climate Change Response, a respected name in the sector for two decades, is seeking a Part-Time Technical Support Officer to join our team. If you're ready to play a crucial role in implementing Smart metering devices and technologies, and ensuring their seamless operation, this position might be perfect for you.

As a Part-Time Technical Support Officer at Climate Change Response, you will oversee the installation of smart metering devices, working alongside electricians, and undertake setup and maintenance tasks to ensure these systems meet our clients' needs. Your role will be critical in maintaining smooth installs, operations and maintenance of our systems, allowing us to monitor them efficiently and continue to deliver amazing service to our clients on their efficiency and decarbonisation journeys.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Installation Supervision**: Collaborate with electricians and contractors to ensure the successful install of smart metering devices, adhering to quality standards and ensuring timely project delivery.
- **System Setup and Maintenance**: Perform setup tasks for new installations, and conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure the systems operate optimally.
- **Client Needs Assessment**: Work closely with clients to understand their requirements and provide support to address specific needs to keep the hardware functional at site.
- **Quality Assurance**: Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure the reliability and accuracy of smart meter installations.

**Qualifications**:

- Relevant experience in site based project coordination, installation supervision, or a related role.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Technical proficiency in smart metering systems and basic electrical knowledge.
- Class C driver License
- Availability for part-time work with flexibility in hours.
- An understanding of Australian standard Occupational Health & Safety standards, as relevant to electrical installation based activities
