This role has responsibility for development, leadership and delivery of NAB B&PB strategy for the Queensland Commercial Real Estate business. You will be accountable for maximising Tier 1 and 2 customer growth, people leadership and direction, driving key revenue & financial targets, leading customer focus and enhancing market presence, in a property finance specialist team.

**Some key responsibilities include but not limited to**:

- Strategic customer relationship and operational management, maximising income mix, pipeline management, prospecting and acquisition, account planning, workload planning, etc.
- Proactively manage risk, meeting all policy and compliance requirements; manage mitigate issues or breaches as they are identified
- Profit & Loss and Balance sheet accountability including managing revenue, Lending footings and Deposits
- Hold significant DCA to account for customer complexity within their respective portfolios
- Provide leadership support for direct report in skills development, relationship development and guidance in achieving individual business plans
- Be accountable for the execution of risk appetite and culture as per the B&PB Risk Appetite
- Be a key influencer working across regions to bring to life NAB proposition, in particular growing/deepening industry specialisation

**What you will bring**:

- Significant banking background in either business, private, corporate or credit, with specialised property finance experience, or equivalent professional experience in a related career
- Depth and breadth of leadership of a team, ideally with functional and professional diversity.
- As the face of NAB, role model our values and behaviours in my community and leverage my deep understanding of the local property market and broader industry trends
- Own the overall performance of the geography including customer outcomes, financial performance, strategy, execution, operational management and meeting the rising community expectations of banks
- Drive efficiencies and effectiveness across the team, business partners and overall value chain
- Strategic customer relationship and operational management e.g. maximising income mix, pipeline management, prospecting and acquisition, account planning, workload planning, etc.
- As a leader, co-create initiatives across the operating model to optimise customer service by collaborating broadly across NAB with specialists and partners
